- Maintain a supportive and inclusive culture aligned with organizational Mission, Vision, and Values
- Collaboration with operational leaders to ensure adequate staffing and coverage throughout assigned area(s)
- Enforce program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Provide shift coverage as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Assistance in the hiring, evaluation, coaching, development, and disciplinary action(s) of nursing staff within assigned area
- Oversight of medication and supply ordering
- Conduct new employee training, training updates, and changes in nursing protocol
- Assist in the development of teams within assigned site(s)
- Ensure compliance of all regulatory bodies within assigned region; Adherence to all federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements (OHMAS, TJC, SAMHSA, BOP, DEA), adherence to the stated board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements
- Ensure a safe, clean working environment by Initiate/maintain procedures, rules and protocols related to infection control
- Ensure timely completion and investigation of all Nursing related Incident Reports
